We specialise in handmade boned corsets - which don't necessarily have to be part of a wedding dress. We can make you a corset for any special occasion - a party, a grand evening do, or just because you'd like one!
Our 'Corsets and Skirts' range will be launching soon which are garments designed to be worn together for an outfit with real show-stopping potential. Be the belle of the ball in a Jackie Thompson Couture corset and skirt.
We will send you an invoice via email. We use Paypal so you can either pay the invoice through your Paypal account (if you have one) or simply put your card details in (meaning you don't have to create an account if you don't have one).

Because we enjoy making wedding dresses and making our brides feel special we prefer to concentrate on this. Bridesmaids dresses are readily available in the shops and you and your bridesmaids can enjoy a girlie day out shopping for these.
Not at all. Jackie makes dresses for all shapes and sizes and will design you a beautiful dress that will flatter you, suit your shape and fit you perfectly.
This will depend on the time taken to design and create the wedding dress. The price is worked out after your initial consultation and payment is made on three occasions – when you confirm you’d like Jackie to make your dress, after the toile is made and before final fabric is purchased and on collection of your wedding dress.
Yes we can help. Jackie has spent over 20 years designing and making wedding dresses and she’s seen a few brides. Whether you want something classic, modern or completely unique Jackie can help. She can advise and make suggestions as you need and strives to make her dresses reflect the bride who wears it.
As each dress is a one-off commission and made-to-measure the length of time it takes varies enormously. Jackie recommends you make an appointment as soon as you get engaged if you can. She needs at least three months to design and create your bespoke wedding dress and as she only takes on a small number of commissions a year it is advisable to plan well ahead.
Yes! By all means bring along designs and pictures of dresses you like. Jackie can’t copy dresses by other designers but uses her years of experience designing wedding dresses, her knowledge of couture methods and decorative techniques to create a dress that is as unique and beautiful as the brides who wear them.
